Before welcoming my second daughter in 2017, I worked for a small family business pouring candles, carefully quality-checking each one, and occasionally running farmers markets where I sold handmade goods and local honey. Somewhere between the soft hum of melted wax and the warmth of those market days, I fell in love—not just with candle making, but with the grounding, healing rhythm of crafting itself.
Working with natural materials brought me peace. Creating with intention helped ease my anxiety and reminded me that slowing down and working with nature can be powerful medicine. What began as something I loved quietly became something my soul kept calling me back to.
The name Everly Jade carries my heart. It comes from my daughters—their middle names flipped and spoken out loud one day, never to be forgotten. Even though this journey is just beginning now, the name has always felt like it was waiting for the right moment to bloom.
Starting this business feels like both a leap of faith and a homecoming. My husband is a disabled veteran, and together we raise six beautiful children. Our life is full, busy, and wonderfully unpredictable—filled with school schedules, appointments, and everyday magic. A traditional job with rigid hours simply doesn’t fit the life we’re building.
Everly Jade Crafts allows me to do what I love while staying present for the people I love most. Every candle, craft, and creation is made with care, intention, and gratitude—for my family, for nature, and for the journey that brought me here.
